Ultimate lemon

This tastes nearly identical to SSA Natural lemon where its half candied half natural good @ 1.5-2% where FE is more candied.All 3 are sharp good lemons great for fruit medleys ,lemonades .Maybe not the best bakery lemon but in small % with a more natural lemon helps give it backbone and less fading as many lemons are prone to .Def 4-5 stars and up there with with SSA Nat and FE

A mashup of Fresh Lemons, and Lemon Drop Candy

**Ultimate Lemon (Flavor Jungle) 3.0% (10-10-23)** -- Normally I test most lemons at lower percentages, but I decided to let this one roll with the rest, and there were no issues at 3%. It immediately struck me as a rather different take on Lemons, and in an interesting way. This was a combination of a Fresh Yellow Lemon, and a Lemon Drop candy. The fresh lemon was convincingly natural with some sweetness and a nice tart edge. The Lemon Runt notes were artificial, and had a nice candied edge. NOW, what is important here, is the RATIO of one to the other, which will dictate how or when you could/would use it. It was fairly hard to determine the EXACT ratio with all of the yellow lemony notes swirling around, but I'll settle on 60% Natural Lemon, and 40% Lemon Drop. Despite it being labeled as "Ultimate" this type of mashup may work better in some mixes more than others, mostly because of the inclusion of the candy lemon drop elements. If you were in need of a purely natural tasting Lemon, this won't be for you, but for everyone else, it might.

Despite being a mashup, I didn't get any off-notes, and NO PLEDGE !!!! The ratios between the two Lemon types was smartly done by leaning towards the natural. Sweetness was jsut below mid-level, and there was just enough tart/sour to keep it crisp. All in, not a bad Lemon, BUT, as always, it will depend on what you need in a mix. I think leaving it high, and equal to the previously tested Ultimate Grape felt fair, as the inclusion of the candy elements may or may not be for everyone. Leaving this squarely at a **9.0/10**.

Ultimate Lemon

Finally found a lemon flavoring that I actually like. Been searching and buying and NOT using many I have purchased elsewhere. This lemon had a good lemon flavor. Nothing "off". It's a keeper.

Even Better Than FE Lemon!

I had heard that this flavor was amazing and the best lemon on the market but I was super skeptical. FE Lemon has been my favorite, along with VT Sour Lemon, for years now so I was doubtful this one could top those 2. I tested this one at 2% and I was immediately sold! It's similar to FE Lemon with a bit more of a natural lemon bite. It's not a natural lemon but it has aspects of it that remind me of natural lemons. It's sweet like FE lemon is and mixes well with just about anything you'd need a lemon for. FE Lemon was one that didn't really go too well in bakeries or creams but this one fits right into those profiles with little trouble. I'm very blown away by this lemon flavor. If you like FE Lemon and VT Sour Lemon this is the lemon for you and it may well replace those 2 for you (although Sour Lemon has a better sour bite to it than this one).

The best lemon I've ever tried

I've tried a lot of lemons, including the Flavors Express lemon (My previous favorite), but Ultimate Lemon is even better. What more can I say?
